Hello! My name is Hannah Huang and Tigerfloss Studio is based in Los Angeles. My hand lettering work is inspired by modern calligraphy and typically involves pointed pens, sumi ink, brush pens, folded pens, paint brushes, watercolor, as well as digital facsimiles.

I appreciate simplicity in style—subtle, quiet, yet potent—as much as I do oddities, juxtapositions, and the extraordinary imaginary.

Beyond the pleasures of looking at fancy writing, I hope that my work resonates with those who still appreciate analog ways of doing things with our hands, and is a kind reminder to slow down, cultivate patience, and respect imperfections which mark the loveliness of the human touch.
